You can choose to kill him immediately then and there, or you can also kill him once he arrives at The Nexus and you’ll still be able to claim the armor set.

When you do, go back to Blacksmith Ed, talk to him, and then hand him the Flamelurker’s soul. Well, aside from its historical significance, there are many fans who consider Demon’s Souls to be FromSoftware’s best game. While much of that praise is rightfully reserved for the title’s art direction (which, again, shines brighter than ever in this visual masterpiece), others say that Demon’s Souls features some of the best Soulslike gameplay. However, the next moment I remember is fairly unique to this next-gen title. It happened when I was walking down a tight corridor packed with enemies wielding crossbows.
Another Dregling will come out of a wooden barricade, located left to the giant door. On the other side of the door, there is also a Dregling, but it will remain hidden until you get much closer. Executioner Miralda in Body Form appears, hiding to the right inside the stairwell building. After you defeat her, go back to the stairwell building where Miralda was hiding.

Those who have faced its trials and tribulations before, can once again challenge the darkness in stunning visual quality and incredible performance. Demon’s Souls is the prototypical Souls game, so it carries a bunch of the hallmarks of the formula that has come to define From Software’s titles in the years since. You play a lone warrior venturing into a dark fantasy land dominated by monsters and demons, where your goal is to slay enemies to gain the souls they carry. Those souls can be spent on leveling your character up by adjusting your stats, which can alter the game by allowing you to use different weapons, speeding up your actions, or giving you access to magic. If you die, however, you lose what souls you’ve earned but haven’t spent, so planning and strategizing, playing carefully, and managing risk are all key to the experience.

It’s that gorgeous, modern, big-budget presentation that may cause a sense of friction with players who will experience Demon’s Souls for the first time, or will do so in the context of FromSoftware’s subsequent games. Games like Dark Souls refined the formula established by Demon’s Souls, while Bloodborne and Sekiro streamlined it further. Reverting to the hallowed ground of Demon’s Souls, and its experimental and quirky gameplay rules, may feel at odds with its looks. Yes, Demon’s Souls is often as difficult as this series’ reputation would lead you to believe it is, but I’m struck by how balanced much of this game feels. A big part of the credit there has to go to the game’s character building and equipment systems. There are some builds that are “better” (or more optimized) than others, but generally speaking, it’s easy to build your character based on your preferences rather than what you assume the game wants you to do.
Once you reach the archway, go through it to your left, you will find yourself in a room with explosive barrels. Now turn right, and you will face a Boletaria Soldier wielding a halberd. Once you are ready, head down to face the six Dreglings, try to hit them fast.

Each of the five major areas have three levels a piece, with the first area having a few more. Once you have beaten the first level on the first area, the other areas are unlocked.
Keep going down the stairs, another Dregling will approach you. Dispatch it, and take the left exit to what looks like a small balcony. At the sides of the door frame, you will find two chains, one left and one right. Now go back to the top of the stairs where the boulder was and go to the other side. Just be patient when facing it, remember to use your shield when needed, and don’t get too greedy when you are on the offense. On your left, you will see be able to enter through the fog, but don’t do it just yet and keep going forward.
It does both slashing and piercing damage at a rate of 70 physical per hit and what it lacks in pure power, it more than makes up for in speed of attack. These daggers are for players who want to get in and out of combat and rely on their dex to help them overcome the damage disadvantage. Demon’s Souls has a lot of weapons with varying abilities and means of attack. Each weapon has its own attack style and, thanks to Bluepoint Games’ work on FromSoftware’s original game, has unique animations. Every problem must have multiple solutions, so that players can tackle it whichever way they want. The game’s controls can never be a factor from which difficulty is derived. And finally, we want to make sure that there’s the possibility for miracles to happen; those magical moments that spread stories outside of the confines of the game world.
